I used to find the compass on my 950 very useful but I can't see a way to turn it on on the 1005 - am I missing something obvious? Did a quick search but couldn't see an answer here already... Thanks |

Nope, you're not missing something obvious... Not having the compass is yet another "improvement" in the new models.

Well that's a bit pants. Thanks for the link. I wonder if TomTom listen to their customers - maybe no one wanted the compass... |

Maybe it's time to look at other manufacturers next time I buy a Sat Nav! TT are the only ones with Live Traffic though aren't they? |

I think Garmin have just introduced something similar (or improved their RDS Traffic).
TT are still considered the best, but the competition are coming up fast. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
