Satsync Upgrade 1.501 Problem

Since upgrading to the latest version of Satsync (1.501) I am struggling to import POIs in any format. When I have managed to import a file the POIs are converted into individual .map files rather than one file. For example, a .kmz file of footpath signs converts into several hundred individual .map files with a separate file for each POI. I have tried to import files in the following formats: .gpx; .txt; .csv; .kmz all with the same result. I emailed Satmap last Wednesday but so far have not had a response. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Reply now received from Satmap.

"In the interests of data efficiency and to optimize the performance of the unit, the latest version SatSYNC adds POIs as individual files, as opposed to collections or group files. If you wish to import POIs as categories you will need to create a folder for each one".



I've suggested they update the user guide as this is a big change in approach and sensible management of POIs will require the use of sub-folders.

Sorry I may be missing something but hasn't it been this way for ages now?

My satmap is away for repair so can't see if there has been a recent update in the last few days. Well that's not strictly true a satmap was delivered back to me today only problem was it ain't mine!! GRRRRRRR!!

That's another weekend home with the kids and her indoors!!!!
