Sorry I am mistaken. Excuse my impetuousness. I rebooted my Mac and POI's are back _________________ --

Darren
I haven't waded through the entire 6 pages here just the last couple - your comment about TT def. not removing the feature? Is this in relation to not being able to use things like the PGPSW database on their new systems post Jan 2011?
If so then this is good news as I would not have bought another TT in the future if I could not have done so. _________________ TomTom Live 1005 world maps |

Hi Folks
My card has arrived
So what is the best plan of action please. Do I:
1. Use a 'file copy' action to copy all the files from the TT hard drive to the cardwith the card in a reader? Then delete the files on the TT.
or
2. Delete the files on the TT and put the card in the slot and run a 'restore' routine from TT Home - will it put it on the card by default?
or
3. nearly do 2. but do the restore then delete the files on the TT drive.
or
4. Do 3. and don't worry about deleting the files?
or
5. Do something else - what please?
I assume I also need to format the new SD card - via Windows using standard default or 32 bit specific formatting command, or in some other way please feel free to educate me.
Many thanks for all help rendered _________________ TomTom Live 1005 world maps |

I have the same.

Click the desktop MyTomTom icon, Settings, Clear cache, then save settings. _________________ David |

"thou shalt be a dispersion in all kingdoms of the earth"
Sorry if we're being obtuse Spit-fire.... As you say, currently adding POIs is a rather cumbersome process. TT still have some other promises to fulfill, so an improved method for POIs may well be being worked on at the same time.... _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

So did TT back down - can new TT devices still support the PGPSW speed camera database and sounds? _________________ TomTom Live 1005 world maps |

Yes

Ah that bits still work in progress, currently the speed camera alert ogg files we use are not supported on the new devices that use the crap MyTomTom interface, whether this ever changes is down to TomTom - Mike |
