Using Desire S which has its own pre loaded maps called locations, (so no need of a data conection whlst out driving for directions/sat nav etc) If starting CA it defaults to google maps as the maps displayed. If under settings I select to launch 'Locations' the phone will display the built in locations maps, but cameras are not shown on the map like they would be in google maps. Is there any way to change this or maybe a suggestion for future release for phones that have pre installed maps like the Desire S has?

Other than that an excellent app.

Hi,

We can only work with what Google offers to us in the Android SDK (software development kit). If Google added 'locations' as a service we can use then yes we would certainly consider it. However until that happens I'm afraid not.

Thanks for the quick reply. A further question, in the normal speed camera POI for devices such as TT, the spoken warnings are given for all cameras including the portable guns that are listed. However with the android version all I get is the verbal warnings for the fixed position cameras, the portable ones are shown as the icon of a policeman holding the camera, but no spoken warning? Is this correct?
