May be a map problem in your area. Normally TomTom recognizes the one way streets correctly (and only ignores them in the walking mode) _________________ Lutz

Walking mode is were a human operating Tom Tom moves his/her legs backwards and forwards in a kind of shuffling action so as to propel him/herself forward. Sorry I couldn't resist it!!
Go to map mode click A>B icon. Click 'type' tab. Click type pull-down select walk mode. This tells TT to ignore one-way roads nifty eh! _________________ Ipaq 2210

My setting in map mode is already on quickest route mode.
also what speed setting do you have for the roads, moterways, major roads, etc, etc, do you leave them on default settings or hav you changed yours.

If you're driving up the M6 on a Friday afternoon then...well you get the picture.
Personally I have dropped all speeds by a few kilometres per hour and then mentally adjust my time of arrival depending on driving conditions.

councils tend to trow one way systems up on a daily basis and only one existing at the time of tt3 s release would be on there _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

How right Alix is, councils throw up a junket when it comes to roads so much so that they havent got a clue what they are doing, so how on earth are TomTom or Teleatlas supposed to know?.
I reckon a good test for the testing of TomTom under stressful conditions is to develop a program where it can detect speed humps, in two hours it will probably blow up or sweet "english Jane" would tell you where to stick 'em!!. |

yeah but the one way system in my area is at least 10 years old, so surely something that old should have been picked up by tomtom.
i will try tomtom when i go to another city and then see what happens, if it takes me there in the first place that is ! :D _________________ TOMTOM ONE V2 ***DID HAVE: Hp Ipaq 2210, Fortuna B/T clip on, Tomtom Navigator V3.03, Tomtom GPS v3.07, 512mb Kingston sd card. |
