Guys
Via bluetooth, the first part of the driving instruction from my SatNav app (Copilot or Google Nav) gets clipped. So I often run the music app at low volume with an easy listening instrumental track to prevent missing the first part of the next instruction.
I know the above is not a CamerAlert issue but wonder if an option could be added to the settings page to play out (loop?) a user defined sound file or playlist.
I recall that this was a technique used by some people with TomTom units that had built in FM transmitters.
Thanks in advance

And on a similar vein, can the sound warnings be disabled when a phonecall is in progress?
I have a JABRA Cruiser 2 Bluetooth unit and if I'm in a phone call the warnings block out the sound of the person I'm talking to.
Must be possible as Co-Pilot manages to stay quiet if a call is in progress.
Other than that, looking good. |

if i were you i would be suggesting to copilot and/or google to fix their app's..?!!
i doubt it will be something we will add to CamerAlert as our alerts should work ok via bluetooth so we have nothing to fix.

bobnuts1 Back in the early days of CamerAlert I had some difficulty with my bluetooth connection. I found I was able to play ipod app in background, but paused, to get what it seems you're looking for. _________________ Dennis
