I was looking at the site for the altimeter 3rd party add-on and it mentions now working with firmware version 8.3 (Ithink!)
I have an XL IQ routes and appear to have App No. 9.026.xxx and Map v845.2645.xxx Is the App version also described as the firmware version and does anyone happen to know if the altimeter add-on works with it?
Thanks |

Your app is indeed 9.026
Whether the 3rd party application works with it, I do not know.
I guess you can give it a shot and see......
Backup your unit's contents with Explorer first, just to play safe. _________________ David |

If Altimeter does not work with v9.xxx, I think "Height" does. Tripmaster (which also has an altitude function) certainly does.
Please let us know how you get on. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

I hadn't realised that Tripmaster had an altitude function but as comments seemed to indicate that it worked OK with the latest navcore I installed that and it's fine. |
