I still switch between Talex and Novus occasionally, and have had an update done on Novus if you mail them the location... eventually Smile I'm not so inclined to mail Talex since you pay for that database and so expect it to be good.

I've been using 2 Talex lite's together using both databases and found the Talex database much more accurate than the Novus.

I have to agree - considering the bad press it's strange

I have both a Talex and a Garmin using PocketGPSWorld speed camera database. I find both pretty good. I notice Darren is extremely down on the Talex and one or two people seem to think the Talex take a long time to remove temporary speed camera alerts. I go down to Kent from Huntingdon regularly and have done for many years. For at least the last 3 years the PocketGPSWorld has warned about the average speed limit just the Kent side of the QE2 Bridge when in some parts it has not been ther for 1 or 2 years! So both systems have problems but on the whole both are very helpful despite their shortfalls. However, only an idiot would rely 100% on any speed camera database!
