Completely agree.
Today, HD traffic represented value for money for me.
Accurate, reliable, continuous and as advertised today. _________________ Graeme Bennett

On the way into Leeds this morning TT piped up that the A660 was closed in both directions.
There's some ongoing roadworks on this road which causes short delays to be reported from time to time.
I didn't accept a re-route, and kept on re-booting just in case, but the closure still kept on being reported.
I took the re-route at the last possible moment.
I've just got home and found out that the closure was genuine.
"A660 Leeds Road. West Yorkshire Leeds: Road closed due to accident both ways between A659 Bradford Road and A658 Pool Bank New Road ..."
So, for the first time ever, my TT saved me from being late for work
It'll be interesting to see if this accuracy keeps up. |

Something odd I noticed last night. I was looking at a local incident around 6pm and on the screen it said (roughly) Incident 1/1152, then it went to 1/350, then 1/760 and finally 1/1220 in succession. I was wondering if the data was being updated and sent in three parts due to the amount at that time? _________________ Drivelux |

Same journey this morning.
About 10 miles from Leeds HD reported the same road closed in both directions, but this time the next two sections along from the sections that were closed yesterday.
"Surely not" I thought, and decided to ignore the warning this time.
Sure enough, 2 miles out the Fog came down thick, and the flash of blue lights slowly became visible.
HD Traffic did report the closure starting earlier than it did, so taking the first suggested detour would have caused a longer than needed journey; but in my opinion that's "two-for-two".
Perhaps we should spin this off into a new thread....
HD Traffic Successes anyone? |

Success indeed!
Screenshots showing updates this morning - the first incident shrank and disappeared in front of my eyes so updates are definitely coming through OK again.

Trip back through Glasgow yesterday afternoon. Looked to be updating regularly. A few incidents en-route that were reported correctly and accurately.
Starting to see more examples of the extra detail that has been appearing recently.
M74 Slip road off the motorway showing as stationary traffic, heavy traffic on approach to the roundabout from the north too.
Lets see what tomorrow morning brings! _________________ Graeme Bennett

I've noticed the extra detail as well. They've even now got the road works on the M1 between J25 and J28. they've only been there for about two years !!!! |

Monday 7:45 and it is playing up again. Connects downloads then does not update again without forcing a reboot or flight mode. Only partial downloads again. _________________ Drivelux |

Same here. I'm monitoring some major delays on the M42 and apart from the initial download it hasn't updated again.
Will keep an eye on it. |

Don't think mine is updating fully this morning, I actually get the impression that the number of incidents on Browse Map is being updated, but the blue bar showing the delays on my route on the main screen does not always seem to update.
As I say though, the device is definitely receiving updates, as I have watched the incidents on Browse Map increase steadily from 991 to 1432 in the last 30 minutes or so. |

Mine seemed fine this morning but not much in the way of traffic on route - 2 incidents and one of them updated whilst on route.
The total number of incidents was updating every 3 minutes or so. |
