I have an original Go with Western Euro maps and latest software from TT home. I have tried several rural locations which are shown as tracks on the map and stored them using the current position option as a new favourite. It logs the new favourite but when I try to map a route to it later it says no route found. can u help |

It will store them as it stores the lat/long of the specific point. But, if that point (favourite) is not on a navigatable road, then the TT can't route you to it. _________________ David |

This is something I've meant to investigate but never got round to...
Some people have trouble getting the TomTom to navigate to "off-road" locations and some don't.
It might be worth trying saving the same locations as POIs rather than Favourites.
See if it will navigate to those instead. |

Thanks for the help. I think I have solved it by using the lat/long option and saving this as a favourite. when i could not navigate to my location i went to the start of the off road track where it joined a known road and set that as favourite, but the lat/long option is better if some distance from a known road. |

You say you THINK you've solved it, but have you tested it? I'll swear that somewhere in the dim and distant past it was said that off road Favourites reject navigation, but off road POIs accept it. Do a Plan Route demo run to test it. _________________ Dennis
