You don't have the cradle connected via a USB hub do you? Can you email me the setup .zip file you download so I can verify it's integrity? _________________ Darren Griffin |

yes it is connected to a usb hub
ill email the file in a min.
i also emailed Tom Tom support who have suggested this:
Uninstall active sync and then download the latest BUILD version of active sync from the Microsoft website and install this. Soft reset your Pocket PC. Delete any partnerships you have made in active sync and make a new partnership. Then try again.
We hope to have answered your question to your satisfaction.
With best regards,
The TomTom Customer Support Team
so ill try that first if not ill email you the file.
ps whats the significance of the usb hub ? |

You must NEVER connect a PocketPC cradle via a Hub, there are numerous reasons for this but some of the issues you are experiencing are one of them. ActiveSync USB Connections MUST be via a primary USB port and not via a hub, powered or otherwise.
I'd connect your cradle to the PC's USB Ports directly and retry the installation. _________________ Darren Griffin |
