Thanks for the feedback timtom.
With dozens of possible destinations/menu links covering over 200,000 pages, it has always been, to put it mildly, a challenge to get the menu layout correct.
That said, it's just occurred to me that since we changed the logo layout at the top, we now have room to squeeze in another link on the right, which I have duly allocated to the the elusive "log out"!
I'm concerned that the new link might spill over to the next line on some systems. If anyone spots this occurrence, please let us know.
Thanks. _________________ Robert Brady |

On a similar gripe, I don't log in every time, only when I want to post a reply on a forum usually.
When I then log in I'm dumped to the forum homepage. It would be much better to be returned to the page I selected login from so I can carry on doing what I wanted to do. |

Ah OK, I thought that might be an issue. Thanks for letting me know Anita.
I'll place it under the "Members" link. _________________ Robert Brady |

I agree this is annoying. If I remember correctly this was discussed in the past and we found the software does not allow for this.
I'll double check to see if it is possible. _________________ Robert Brady |

You've obviously put it in place since Anita is seeing it in Firefox. I however can't. I've logged in/out, restarted IE (v8 in compatibility mode under Vista) and fired up an older computer running IE7 in XP Pro but no Log out button appears in the top banner. The only change I've seen is MaFt's "If you use a shared computer you may wish to Log Out" link in the middle of the download page. _________________ Tomtom One XL

Doh. Ignore my last. I just re-read your 1203pm post Rob. Obviously there's no room in the present format. Still think its worth considering for some future change. Think on-line banking and how their layouts make it blindingly obvious where to exit and therefore keep everybody as safe as poss. _________________ Tomtom One XL
