The new Toyota Prius model now includes a Sat Nav with HUD on it's top of the range model.
Shame about the 21K price tag for the car.
Link Toyota GB
Sign of things to come as more and more cars come with the system built in, next step would be a common connector to plug in any Sat Nav (wishful thinking) _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |

Trevor, have you considered iHUD for the phone? you could have a HUD in the C30 with that although mounting the phone isn't too pretty sat on two lumps of blue-tak! - Mike |

I just 'love' all of the tech the car has... more than just the HUD... a car which keeps itself cool in the sun... powered by solar panels. Drive around town for 1.2 miles on battery alone.
Although to be honest I'm prepared to wait for the Hybrid Auris next year The Prius is just too big. _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |

Hands up who remembers the BMW / Mercedes HUDs demoed on Tomorrow's World... Must've been at least ten years ago, easily. Why has it taken such a long time for any kind of HUD technology to even make it to the general public? Everybody's been wanting that kind of tech for years! |

But they do feature in the BMW M3 and M5 and the S Class Merc. Have done for a few years now... Ok not exactly "general public" cars but i suspect there is a "distraction danger" which is slowing more general integration... |
