I have recently found myself unable to instal the speed camera database that I subscribe to (pocketgpsworld's of course).
When I put the 730 on the cradle and the screen asks if I want to connect to the computer I say yes as always and Tomtom Home starts. However, now when I click on "removable disk " or "internal" in My Computer rather than opening up and allowing me to paste the download I get the message "E Application not found" or "F Application not found". The pc obviously knows the tomtom is connected otherwise the icons wouldn't be there.
I have never had this problem before, just last couple of weeks. Cheers for any assistance. |

Not sure, but if you turn 'Home' off so that it doesn't load up when you connect to the PC, are you able to get into the 730 then?
I know most prople say not to use Home as it is to buggy etc. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

i would check for viruses... i recently spent hours clearing someone's system where the virus actually edited the registry so that double clicking any of the icons/drives in 'My Computer' tried opening a dodgy program... the anti-virus got rid of the actual dodgy program but failed to repair the registry properly...
if you go to start then run (or press windows key + R) and run F:\ it should open the drive normally.

I think MaFt may have it....
In any normal circumstances, clicking on a drive icon should never try to run an application or program .exe |

Thanks for the replies. I have managed now to copy the cams database by run F:\. I will run a virus check now and see what happens. Cheers |
