Hi Guys,
I see talk on the web of v830 maps been released, yet there is no mention of them on here.
I checked out the TT homepage and again nothing, also TThome is not offering anything!
Is this a hoax? _________________ Go 720 v8.351 GPS v1.20 Boot 5.5120

I've read a few places saying that the 8.30 maps are out too, but to be honest none of what I regard to be the trusted sources (this forum and a few others) are claiming that so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
Have a look at this thread for guesstamates _________________ Graeme Bennett

Ah sorry. Though it might be a 8.30 / 8.350 mix up... |

I suspect the web is confused between firmware and maps |

It seems that pirated/versions of the next map have been leaked onto the web. They are NOT officially available yet.
Anyone who uses them pushes up the price for the rest of us, and IMHO deserves any problems they end up with. |

It make syou wonder how they can get them before they are even released?
One thing though, at least we know they are imminent to be released. _________________ Go 720 v8.351 GPS v1.20 Boot 5.5120

I would be surprised if they are indeed what they claim to be in the first place and not just trojans/spyware/virus etc. I wouldn't be surprised either if it's agencys acting on behalf of TomTom "Hosting" these files to source copyright infringer's and potential leaker's! And if not, take note TomTom, a good idea! _________________ Graeme Bennett
