I seen this official speed camera website run by councils etc. It shows all official speed camera location for the north east of scotland. It might be of some interest for addition to your databases. Hope you manage to find a way to incorporate it.

The fixed camera locations might be of use to check the locations in the PGPSW database, but the mobile locations are given as the start and stop locations of "mobile zones", so cameras could be located anywhere within the zones. Although this site does appear to give accurate locations for the fixed cameras, these sites generally only give locations as road names. As such, we don't generally use them as the basis for the database. _________________ Jock

Another problem with these Safety Partnership sites is that nobody seems to keep them up to date or even reasonably accurate. My local SP site has this camera site. The camera is no longer "there" - BUT it never actually was there, it was some considerable distance south, outside a car sales forecourt (view in Hybrid view to see just how far away - you can see cars on the forecourt). It suffered a burning about a year ago and was removed from our database after three months when I made enquiries and learned that the council had told the car sales place owner that if it were to be burned again, it might damage some of the cars, so they would not be replacing it. But it's still on the website, still in the wrong place. _________________ Dennis
