I'm considering buying an 800x480 device but I'm still looking, so no plans at the moment.

The iGO8 PDA Version 8.3.2.64029 has been officially released for some time now and I think that the iGO8 PNA Version 8.3.2.64873 has also been released.

It's an extremely complex feature, and since I usually only use "Easy" and very occasionally "Fast", it would be somewhat redundant.
I am thinking of adding an extra button to the "Plan on Map" screen though, to give access to the route settings, as a considerably simpler option.

What skin IS that CaHuTaP? I think I'll desert
I really like the alternate route feature and it looks nice to have a graphical representation like with web routing applications. Shame we can't mix n match with skins!
I'd also like the feature to be a little more accessible than having to click 'More Options' ... 'Routing Methods' every time. |

It's either the Gurgon or Choup skin, they both have it I think, so be my guest.

Yes, thanks for that, I've included replacement bitmaps in version 6.0.9.

Added Version 6.0.9
Added an additional button to the "Plan on Map" screen to open the "Route Information" screen if there is an active route. When there is no active route the button opens the "Route Settings" menu.
Modified the "Route Method" display on the "Route Information" screen so that it's now an active button. Selecting it cycles through the various routing methods and recalculates the route accordingly (see the screenshots page general section for details).
Modified the "Pop-Up" information panel on the "Plan on Map" screen to include the actual POI icons. Also changed the background colour for daylight mode to make it more visible.
Added a number of minor fixes and cosmetic adjustments.

"Pop-Up Info Panel" only shows up on "Plan on Map" screen but not on normal "Map" screen on my VGA device.
Is this on purpose? Because with Ultra 5 skin this also worked in "Map" screen.
