Sorry guys I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times, but I can't find the answer. I have a Go 730 and get both PocketGPS and TomTom camera's showing at the same time. How do I disable or delete the TomTom ones? |

Don't have "Safety Cameras" show up anywhere in TomTom Home. Do you know where I can delete them manually? |

Is it under the Points Of Interest section?
From the FAQ
Quote: | The TomTom Cameras (if installed) will show as above, usually as “Safety Cameras” but on some older machines they may still appear in the “Points of Interest” section. |

You can also disable them in the TomTom Services menu on your device. _________________ Darren Griffin |

First of all make sure you have a full backup of the device.
Connect the device to the PC and shut down the TomTom Home application.
Start Windows Explorer, and locate the drive letter associated with your TomTom PNA device, click this followed by the Western and Central Europe Map folder.
You should now be able to see the camera files:
Autovelox_IT_TomTom.ov2
Blitzer_AT_TomTom.ov2
Fartkamera_SE_TomTom.ov2
Fartsboks_NO_TomTom.ov2
Flitspaal_NL_TomTom.ov2
Kamerat_FI_TomTom.ov2
Radar_BE_TomTom.ov2
Radar_ES_TomTom.ov2
Radar_FR_TomTom.ov2
Radar_PT_TomTom.ov2
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2
Note each the above list is for the actual database files, there will also be two other files with the same name but using different file extensions of .dct and .ver
Simply delete these files from the map folder and you won't be troubled again by double alerts - Mike |

OK Thanks guys but there are no such ov2's on my Go 730, perhaps I'm getting confused, has PocketGPS changed it's graphics for the cameras, as I now get a small speed logo in the top left corner, instead of the usual bigger one. (Getting old you know). |

Once again thanks Peeps, I have had a look at the post suggested by OldBoy (thanks for that) and it's does explain what's going on. So I have downloaded the large icon pack and will test it next time I'm passing a camera (slowly). |

No need... just set up a "A-B prepare route" past a camera and then run a demo of the route. Keep the speed less than 300% and you will get any visual and audible alerts you have set up. |
