Navevo, have today announced the launch of BBNav (Blue Badge Nav), a dedicated sat-nav device specifically designed to cater for the needs of disabled drivers and carers.
In addition to the standard navigation functionality you would expect, BBNav contains a comprehensive database of disabled parking locations covering 150 major cities and towns throughout the UK. The database includes on-street parking, car parks that have disabled access, local council Blue Badge concessions as well as a large selection of POIs.
Standard features include NAVTEQ street level UK & ROI mapping, 7-digit PostCode search and Safety Camera Alerts.
More information at Navevo's website here. _________________ Darren Griffin
Having Disabled wife and blue badge holder, Looks interesting, shame it only covers major towns, but good thing it uses Navteq Maps, also site says it supports both 3.5 and 4.3 screens so can we assume it will also be released as PDA software, requested info from site. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8
Note from search, price appears to be about £199 for unit and release expected to be October 2008, so not quite ready yet _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8
