I was one of those people who purchased the v1 of gps assist. Now that the .NET version is being released should I update to .NET? I have a 3970 with win2002 v 3.0.11171 and TTN3 using checkpoint and neils postcode prog.

At the moment, the .NET version lacks some functions that are in the original version 1 of GPSAssist - though Jo is working hard to add and enhance those functions. I believe what is there is very good.

You could uninstall version 1, install version 2.1.9.0 (that's the current public version), apply for your new unlock code (free, but you do need a new unlock code for version 2), and see what you think. If you're willing to help Jo develop new features, follow the instructions on the GPSAssist web pages to join the beta group here.
