Cheers

Hi Paul,

Yes, you would need to use an external BlueTooth GPS (or I believe the 214 has a Compact Flash slot which could take a CF GPS, but I don't recommend this). The 214 has a high resolution (VGA, 640 x 320 pixels) screen which is unlikely to be of much benefit when driving with TomTom. Such a screen is probably of greatest advantage for web browsing, etc., but a few people complain that the detail can be too small with some applications like Memory Map.

Just for TomTom you'd probably be better with dedicated TomTom hardware or a navigator like the HP 314. But if you want an integrated PDA/navigator to run other PPC applications, then the Mio P360/560 is a common choice, or if I were purchasing one, I'd look seriously at the Asus 696.

Cheers, Alan.

Hello raymondjamesaxon
