|
|
Hi All,
Something ive never seemed to have got working on my PDA using software version 6.03 is the Speech Preferences.
Ive always had all the options ticked such as "read aloud street names", "read aloud POI warnings" etc but never get anything.
Its possible i removed some files along time ago to save space???
What is it i need again to get these all working?
Cheers

What software are you using? This is the Tom Tom Navigator forum and AFAIK Navigator has never had a text to speech facility that enables these to be read out loud. It is available on some of TT's PNDs but not the Navigator software for a PDA. _________________ Peter

Im Using TomTom Navigator 6.03 for the PDA. ( with map WE6.75 )
Under my speech preferences option, i get 2 pages worth of options about having my POI read out etc,, its in the same place it says about disabling early warnings and keep to lanes etc..
A very quick search on google offers up this screen, which is very similar to what i get...

Cant say I ever got this working on my TTGO 720 with V7.0 either
Its not the end of the world, wont miss what ive never used, but if the option is there, would be nice to use it!
Cheers

Its very possible you wont see it, as it only appears if you write your own TomTom menu!
Its something like ... MENUITEM|TASK_PROMPSTS| ???

Thats maybe a reason then, perhaps the prompts are there, but not the program. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |
