Thanks Mike should be no problems here 256MB free on 512MB card and nothing is set to read only.
The main program resides in its own folder with only the icon in the sdkregistry. _________________ Malcolm

I see from your config-file that a log file named tm20080703_184015.kml was created last night. Does this file not exist in your itn directory? Or is it empty? _________________ http://www.runarweb.com

Thanks Runarg it does now, in desperation I reinstalled the entire program last night and now the problem is resolved.
Why that should happen I really dont know except that I tried the beta version and then un installed that so that probably caused the problem.
Thanks again for all your help _________________ Malcolm
