Like to give these a try, but not quite sure about how to load them, do you put them in the same as the speed cameras, and as I'm using a Nuvi350 with the Emily TTS voice, would there be a problem here?
Thanks

Feekus has got them all named correctly so you should copy them into the same folder that you have the PGPSW safety camera database in and run POILoader to recreate the POI.GPI file. It does not affect the navigation voice you use. You will need the speed-zoned cameras for these to work.

Right, that was much better - I had the master volume set to 80% and the navigation sounds set to 90% and the warnings were nicely loud and punchy. I'm happy with these, but would obviously still like feedback from anyone else who has tried them. |

Must be doing something wrong here, I've downloaded Feeks voice file and the latest speed zoned camera file to new directory, unzipped them both and ran the POI loader on this directory, it installed 13 thousand plus POIs but it still just bongs without any voices, can anyone suggest anything please?

Don't you have to manually copy the voice files onto the device? I'll have a play on my 760, not very 'up' on Garmin's! _________________ Darren Griffin |

I use Ash10's CameraManager utility - it does it all automatcally. BUT you shouldn't have to copy the sound files over - POILoader is supposed to merge everything into the .GPI and move this into the correct nuvi location. Just carefully check the file names - they looked OK at first glance - I'll try them out tonight! _________________ Phil |

Just tried it on mine on a short local run and still playing the default beeps. Are these only supported on some devices? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi all, I also have installed the voicefiles into the same folder as the speedcams and poi`s and inputed onto my garmin nuvi 360 with the latest poi loader ver 2.5.2.0.
On a run out this afternoon and all I got was the normal "very quiet" bongs.
Any chance of a detailed "How to" please as I must have gone wrong somewhere
Thanks in advance....dilcymro |

As far as I'm aware they should work on any Nuvi, certainly works on my 760 with no problems. |

Do you install straight onto the nuvi or an SD card. Is there anything that needs to be set on the mp3 player?, Do you need to turn the bongs off in the settings at all?
Any help =info appreciated. _________________ ***************************************

Ah, just checked the file names don't match!
You have:
PocketGPS_UK_Gatso_Fifty.mp3
and the POI file name is:
pocketgps_uk_gatso_50.csv
I'll rename and re-test! _________________ Darren Griffin |

So Camera POIs and .mp3s in the same folder on the computer and then run POILoader against that folder? No other steps? |
Exactly that - Here's what my POI directory looks like.

That would do it - I use Ash's camera manager doofer to download them so I simply named the files as appropriate for the files that produces. |

OK, I have renamed to match our speed zoned file naming convention.
They can be downloaded here for now, once we're all happy I'll add to the main sound files download page
