I think I'm being dumb....
I'm trying to see speed cameras on my Rider 2. I copied the .ov2 & .bmp files to TOMTOMDISK/Western_Europe
But when I look in the 'Show POI on map' in Preferences, they are not listed.
What am I doing wrong? |

I'm not sure of the folder structure of the Rider but the general idea should be the same as for the One and Go series.
I take it you have downloaded the files and unzipped them OK so now you have a set of ov2 and bmp files on your PC.
Did the Rider already have a folder called "Western_Europe" originally? This name is used as an example on the instructions as each device and map seem have different names across the series. You want to put these files into the folder with the map details - whatever it is called.
Have you downloaded other POIs onto your Rider? It could be that you have hit the limit of categories allowed which would stop random ones showing. _________________ Gerry

Thanks for the reply.
Definitely unzipped.
Only had a Western_Europe folder.
I cannot see any of the listed POI's as ov2 files in the folder though.
Do POI's have to be in a different format? |

They are TomTom Speed cameras and they don't show up when using the browse map option, they only pop up when you are on the road or using Route Demo" - Mike |

Nope, nothing appears "wrong" - it is just that TomTom Speed cameras don't appear in Browse Map (the ones from this site do though - Hint, Hint) - Mike |

...and to think my better half says I don't get hints ;)
Paid up and everything is hunky-dory. Thanks for the help.
(I knew I started this post with the correct statement :doh) |
