2210 internet access

newbie who has got to grips (just) with TTN2......

Have a travel modem from my old Psion 5mx (recently moved onto PPC).

Is it possible to use this modem on the serial port without having to buy any more hardware.

Just want occasional acces to surf net & use email from hotel rooms when on the road?

Any assistance with settings etc would be appreciated.

It should work, assuming that you have a serial cable for your Pocket PC with the appropriate plug on the end, also that the modem doesn't need power from the Psion.

You may need a null modem to go in the cable - Expansys sell a 9 pin to 9 pin null modem if you need one.
