pocketgpsworld.comWe posted last month on the increasing number of rumours surrounding the possible announcement of a TomTom Phone.

This morning an image arrived in our inbox which shows a Sony Experia running what appears to be TomTom v8.

The accompanying spec is vague but lists a unique arc slider with wide pitch easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard, a wide VGA display, Windows Mobile capabilities and a touch screen that you can navigate with the tip of your finger.

That one wins the award today for genuine subtlety of what the game is about for sure.

NICE one Paul!

Yes, apols for that. we have thoroughly failed to co-ordinate this year! In the end I thought I'd add mine belatedly to muddy the water for those who thought they knew some/all were gags.

Sadly for some, the whole spirit of April fool has completely passed them by but I'm glad to see you and most others have taken it in the spirit with which it was intended!

Being here requires a highly developed sense of humour... which begs the question, why am I here?! Wink

If anyone doubts my words, just follow the pledges about PGPS competition closing dates/results posting! Ner Ner! Razz

tsk! The lengths the mods here go to to avoid giving me new toys!! Laughing

Back in the mists of time, on 31st March each year, mum would wish us all goodnight and add "Remember, I'll be April Fooling you in the morning!"

Every year she did it to each of us, separately, individually and with a different one for each of us. Right up until I left home at the age of 18!
