Nav N Go Partner with Sony for PSP GPS Navigation!

I was recently talking to a member of staff at Nav N Go regarding the upcoming IFA show in Berlin. He hinted to keep an eye on the Games Convention in Germany but couldn't give any more details...

Well, it has been announced publicly now that Nav N Go (makers of the IGo MyWay software) have teamed up with Sony to launch a European GPS navigation product for the PSP. Dubbed 'Go!Explore' the software uses TeleAtlas maps and features 11 audio languages. The map regions confirmed so far include: UK/Ireland, Iberia, France, Germany/Austria/Switzerland, Italy, Benelux and Scandinavia.

Sony are currently expecting an early 2008 release.

Seems like the Go!Explore software is out in UK now. I found out from this review.

only £25.99??!! nice! how much is the gps receiver though? or is it all part-and-parcel?

I think the price £25.99 is inclusive of the GPS receiver for the PSP. There's a video in the review that shows Go Explore software in action.

It's available for 'pre-order'. I very much doubt that price is for both software and receiver.
