Hi all,
I own a T-mobile Compact MDA III with built in GPS.
I want to be able to copy my current GPS position into the clipboard.
I have installed TomTom6, Pocket Map OS 5 and I have also tried various free packages. Not one of them allows me to just copy my current status into the clipboard.
All I want to do is copy my position into the clipboard and them into a text message so I can tell somebody where I am via SMS. Quite a simple request but one which is eluding me somewhat.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Normsky |

Plenty of work going on in this area, I'm about to do a Euro Road trip and found cool tracking and gps photo uploading programs but for sms with location this free program does exactly what you want:

What OS have you got on the C-III, is it running WM5 or WM6? - this might serve as an interesting project to code up as I have a C-III to test anything on that might/ might not work - care to detail what the application should do? - or is it simply sufficient to put the lat/ long on the clip board - Mike |
