After automatic update of 720 I find that not only did it change the tone for speed camera warning (from PGPS data base) but they are now alot quieter than before.
The volume for directions is still the same but quiet POI warning tones!
Any ideas on how to resolve this? as I don't want to miss a camera

Well, as I said, there's a few things you could do:

1. change the sound used for one of the other basic ones. Some are louder than others.

2.if you use a "computer voice", you can set it to also speak a warning instead of a sound effect. This will obviously be at the same volume as the spoken instructions, but if you are used to a "bong" sometimes you might miss it.

3. use a NON-computer voice. These are quieter so you can set the overall volume higher and the sound effects will be louder.

4. REPLACE the built in sounds with one of your own, or, if you used the "Polite" sounds, you can replace them with the old ones (still too quiet, but better).

I've put them on my webspace...
Download them from HERE
Unzip them and put the whole "Polite_0riginals" folder inside the "sounds" folder which you should find on the TomTom (not in the map folder).
They should then appear as a folder on the sound effects screen.

They will still be rather quiet, but without making them distorted, that's as loud as I can get them until TT sort things out.
