How do i soft reset my hp ipaq 1940?

My bluetooth connection has dissapeared, seems to be lack of memory or some kind of error. How do i soft reset it? Also whats the procedure for a hard reset just in case that is needed.

The iPAQ 1900 Series Pocket PCs can be soft reset by pressing the tiny recessed button on the left-hand side of the unit. There is a reset nib in the stylus that can be found by unscrewing its top.
