On downloading the new Western Europe map 7.1 I find there are no TomTom speed cameras at all included.
Does anyone know why, and is all that's needed is to copy them over from the old map?

TomTom speed cameras are not supplied as part of a map, they are a separate subscription in the same way that ours are.
If you have a valid subscription then you simply use HOME to re-install them to the new map. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren, just wondered as I have never subscribed to TomTom cameras (to my knowledge), and they were on the maps that came with my 720. Unless of course they were loaded via Home without me realising.
Will connect to Home again and see what happens.

You get a one time free trial with every new TomTom but have to subscribe to get updates. If you aren't subscribing then I should caution you against relying on them as they could be many months out of date. _________________ Darren Griffin |

OK Darren, point taken. They were a pain in the butt anyway coming in as well as my Pocket GPS ones.
It was just for the European ones that I thought might be useful in case I get an urge to leave the village!

Yes, just realised that as I looked on site and found all the other countries.
Thanks

Just one more thing Darren. What's the difference between the consolodated by type and the speed zoned complete?
For UK I use the seperate ones with .ogg files.

Consolidated by Type: Contains one file for each type of speed camera.
Speed Zoned: Contains the speed cameras in individual files for each speed limit and each camera type. _________________ Darren Griffin |
