Hi,
Despite I've set things off, the unit 980t NE 7.02 shows POIs like dentists, pharmacy and something that I don't recognize. The icons are too small and stuffed to tell what it means (are ther somewhere a list?).
My questions is, where come these POIs from, how can I decide which one to show or not or none?

The more I use the X980T the more frustrated I get! I think the Menus are impossible and not even close to intuitive. They are worse than version 6.5.4, and that's saying something! Worse still quite alot of features are only available when in Guidance or Tracking mode - which is when, in theory, you are driving!
I think this answers your question: You need to be in Guidance or Tracking Mode, then Select the ridiculously small Icon on the Bottom Right. Select the 1,2,3 Icon (remembering that you are supposed to be able to do this with a Stylus while driving). Then Select Display followed by Display Useful Addresses followed by Other Useful Addresses. I make it 5 Steps (not including getting to the Guidance screen) . Once you are there, put a check in the POIs you want to display. You can do the same for the Michelin Guides.
You can tap any Icon with the Stylus to get more information on it (at the bottom of the screen). Hope this helps! _________________ ViaMichelin X-980T

You can set My Favourites and My POIs (in 'Managing MyViaMichelin') alarms under 'Before you set off' on the main menu. It's still about a 5-choice job, but at least the worst that can happen at home is falling out of the armchair!
But strangely you can't do it this way with the Michelin Guides or the (VM) Useful Addresses. I suggest they should be added. |
