But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

been very interested in this device since before launch.
have been fiddling with paper and scissors to create a 'window'
to drag over 1:25 and 1:50 maps to get a feel for what one sees.
Read the 'quick' instruction book
but would like some feel for the devices ability in the zoom and scroll
.
Also would like to know the ability to preload a route devised on a PC
using Anquet or Memory Map via a USB cable.

There is quite a bit of information on the active 10 in This Thread, only the last couple of pages contain much information about the device since people have received them.
Zoom and scroll is very fast, much better than a PDA loaded with Memory map, as for downloading routes to it, I don't think that is possible as yet, but should be soon. I have tried to couple my device to the PC, which can see the active 10, but I cannot open the device to do anything with it, perhaps it is possible to load something to the SD card, but not tried as yet - Mike
I have read that THREAD I tried to post to the thread but the system
seems rather counter intuative.
I have posted a message the other day that seems to have lost itself in cyber space :-(((((
