|
|
Understand the txt files need to go under the \POI\SPEEDCAM folder but what about the .bmp files?
Have tried saving the bmp files in the same folder - like in tomtom - but when I approach a camera I can only see two differenc kinds. One is a camera and the other one is the set of traffic lights.
Would be great to know if I am approaching a fixed or temp cam. |

Which download did you use? If you just have one icon, you may have downloaded the "Single file with all cameras". The other option for the iGO "Consolidated by type" will tell you if it's a gatso, mobile, specs etc.
The traffic lights icon is used for the red light cameras at traffic lights. It's personal preference whether you use this or not.
If I have made a mistake regarding the iGO download (I've got a TomTom), someone will be along to correct me.

I downloaded the database by type, but I see the same icon when approaching a gatso than when I approach a mobile camera... None of this icons are the ones that come with the pocketgpsworld database... that is why I am asking where do I have to save them? |

post the files into the following folder on your sd card: igo, poi, speedcam
The correct icon shows up on the map screen, unfortunatly the inbuilt warning will not change. Here's hoping for a better system in

MaFt: I can confirm Igo uses its own icons and so far I have come across traffic lights, fixed camera and mobile.
mark1968: The different types of cameras is only noticeable in the alert when approaching a camera in the navigation screen.
When swithching to the map screen you can see the cameras but all have a single icon, there is no difference between them all. Which version of Igo are you using? |
