Why are overlays not being recognised by my 5500?

I've just upgraded to an iPaq 5500 and have tried loading overlays including Pocket GPS using POI Edit v3. Despite being able to see all the files via Active Sync 3.7.1, Explore, My Pocket PC, Storage Card, GB Navigator Map, when I look fore them on the 5550 in Navigator Menu, Properties, POI, I can only see the standard POIs there.

When I did all this with my old 3800 Pocket PC it worked first time so what am I doing wrong with the 5550?
