I bought area 2 OS 1:50k, I also want to buy area 1. Would I need to constantly put in a different license when I change maps or does one license work for both areas? Or is all this covered by the on-line registration process? Can someone please give me some advice before I go out an spend money.
Also, since I have reinstalled MM 2004 on my pc it now tells me that MM on my PocketPC is an evaluation version abd advanced features are not enabled so I have no GPS tracking!

Right, after re-registration my advanced features are available again. Does this mean I have to re-register after every new map I install? |

You only need to register once and this setting is saved in you registry. When you install another map, don't re-install the program again, just copy your new map from the CD over to the maps folder on your hard drive. If you have to run it off the CD just add the map into your maps list. |

Missed the last bit off.
If you go into your registration details on the PC, you will see the details there. You should not need to enter them again, when you click on OK it will send them again to the PDA. |

You can have both the Memory Map 2003 and 2004 versions installed on one PC and PDA and not have to re-enter your license details.
The only thing to watch oout for is running the right application version with the right maps. _________________ Mike Barrett |
