|
|
Hi to all,
Was one of the first persons buying GPS Assist. One of the last error(s) to be correected was sunrise and sunset times, at least as far as I know. I wonder if there EVER will be an update for us who fully paid for the software ?
Sent several mails to them without any respond, now I wish I never bought it. Who are these people wo don't even bother replying to a simple question.
Best regards

Sadly the author does appear to have given up on this. It is dissappointing especially when you had to pay for it. After all, CheckPOInt is free and the author has provided regular updates and enhancements along the way. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

Hi Darren,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes it is a very sad story when the
author suddenly gives up on something we paid for. I bought a new PDA
and tried to re-install GPSAssist unfortunately the program itself
creates a new ID. GPSAssist in the previous days wanted the use to
send the ID and in return they send a unlock code. As it is right now
I want to re-install the program onto my new PDA but as you understand
I need a new unlock code. Mailed the author an e-mail but so far no
reply. ANy way to get around this problem ?
Yes, I am aware of Checkpoint and using it since a couple of weeks but
the software offers different solutions to customers as for example speeding check points etc.
What I was happy about with GPSAssist is having the possibility of creating a route and follow these points chosen from contacts on my PDA and follow that route.
Do you know of any other program that offers the same features ? I am
using Tom Tom 2 European version.
Best regards
Rolly. |

It may be worth waiting for the release of TomTom3 which is rumoured to have this waypoint functionality _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |
