Hi

Firstly, apologies if this has been asked before, but there's so much info in these forums to wade through!

I've just retired my ancient Garmin Streetpilot 3 to occasional motorbike duty and got a TT ONE v2 Europe. So far it's great and I've managed to download the Safety Camera database and some other POI's with no problem.

I tried to use the 'Favourites' function to list my customers that I regularly visit, but have come up against the 50 limit.

From searching here I see that the way forward is to create a POI category called 'Favourites' and then there is no practical limit as to the number that I can put in.

My question is, how do I create this category and then how do I get the POI's into it?

Thanks for your help.

Welcome, Cabbage Patch (I won't ask!)

This one's easy...
First you may need to find the menu option called "Show all menu options". All might become clearer then!
Once that's done the sequence is:

Tap screen to get main menu, then tap Change preferences / forward arrow / Manage POIs / Add POI category. Give it a name (whatever you like) and on the next screen choose a "marker" icon (you can change this later to an icon of your own design if you wish). That's it!

To add new entries to it you use Change preferences / forward arrow / Manage POIs / Add POI. Choose your category from the list (maybe a good idea to name it starting with an "A" so its at the top of the list)
and then you can then add from an existing favourite, an address, a point on the map, or your position NOW (using the "GPS Position" button.

Cheers Andy

Perhaps I should have looked at the TomTom closer rather than confusing myself on the forum. Confused

Fantastic quick response. What a great forum!

Thanks

Rich
