Maps are stored on internal flash. No SDHC support but .mp3s can be played from a memory card. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Has anyone had any success with these 4gb cards? I see from other posts that people have compatibility issues with some sd cards. Would be good to hear from someone that has a 4gb card working. |

Topram x150 4GB non-HC from ebay works for me.

So am I correct in assuming that the new 520 and 720 cannot work with maps from the sd card? |

No, who said that?
They will be the same as the latest TT "One" with the internal memory, so you can either use the system and maps in the memory OR use an SD card with the system files and map installed on that.
What you can't do, is use both at once. |

Possibly, or possibly not. There are now conflicting reports on this. memory issue. _________________ Tim |

That will teach me to edit my post!
I originally said "I'm assuming they will be the same as the latest TT "One"", but thought that sounded a bit vague! 8) |

No one said it but I asumed it may be the case from Darrens post at the top of the page containing my first post. I'm grateful for the clarification, I'm now firmly under the impression that maps can be used from an SD card. Thanks. |

Hi Guys
There are so many conflicting stories as to whether the 520 and 720 has text to speech like the 910.
Anyone have a definitive answer please. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2699lmt
