Whilst downloading a map to pocket navigator ActiveSync lost the connection. Now my iPAQ doesn't recognise my SD Card and keeps asking to format it. It is readable on my PC's card reader.

When I allow WM2003 to format it, it says it has done it OK but the card is still not recognised.

My card is a KingMax 256MB and has been working fine for the 8 months or so that I've had the iPAQ.

I've soft and hard resetted but no joy. Has this happened to anyone else? Sounds to me like a failure in the SD slot in the iPAQ.

Matt

I have tried my card in an XDA and an XDA II and neither can read the card. My iPAQ can however read another SD card. Therefore it's the SD card that's got the problem.

I've seen on the website where I bought it that this card seems to have major compatability problems. I have noticed my iPAQ is so much more stable since I have been using a CF card instead of the SD card.

Anyone know how the warranty works on this thing??
