Is this a feature or a fault. I find it really disconcerting, to not know what is happening until the other end answers. Until then it could be one of 3 scenarios, engaged, bad number, or ringing out. Can this behaviour be modified ? _________________ Tony

Sounds like a possible fault to me. My Go910 works fine on all calls.

Are you saying that you hear the other end ringing before they answer ? _________________ Tony

Tony,
Just tried ringing my home number to make sure, and I can hear it ringing before my answer machine cuts in, so all is ok with my 910.

No.
I can't believe it's a hardware fault though because everything else works flawlessly and it is more of a logic thing involving software.. Seems to be some setting I am missing but blowed if I can see anything. _________________ Tony

It says this phone only receives calls. I have similar problem to you. If I dial a number from the Nokia handset, it goes to TomTom, but I only hear when they pick up or it goes to voicemail
It is disconcerting, but I wonder if it is the phone. My 6021 used to allow a lot more features. I have a 510 that thinks it is a 910. I am seriously thinking of downgrading my phone.
My favourite was 6310i, and I disliked my 6021 until I got N70, now I want my 6021 back.
I love my TomTom 510 from CPC, it is refurbished - 24 months manufacturer's warranty and is super buy at £145 plus vat
I drive a lot and though my company stuff from TomTom is fully legit I hold up my hands and admit to trying to make mods to my own unit. Some successfully and others not so good
But it is something I love to try. So many boring nights in strange towns and cities across europe with time on my hands. When you work in security, one likes to see how others approach things. All is a learning curve. When we know everything, then life is boring, but I still enjoy the odd Eureka moment _________________ TomTom Go720 v8.320
