Just found a new patch for mapsonic. It looks great: night vision, 3D, GPS speed and a new icon menu.
Just one thing is that it installs in french but all you have to do is to change the default language.
Can't wait to try it out. I was considering changing mapsonic to another brand later in the year but now no way!

Thanks for the info but please stop fooling around with BB codes in the subject line. _________________ Lutz

It has a number of nice features.
1) It now only asks once for the bluetooth access code for the Fortune ClipOn.
2) The navigation menu is easier to work with a finger.
3) The 3D navigation is much easier to work with.
4) Night mode is great, if you have the space to export the polygons. Otherwise Night mode doesn't work. I've emailed them about this.
The only things I want to see fixed now are:
a) The fact that voice announcments can come too late to be of any use. Telling me that I need to take the junction I'm driving past doesn't help me!
b) The ability to download map updates through the year |

The number one problem I want to see fixed is the lack of any upgrade route to purchasers of Mapsonic. I don't want to have to re-buy the whole product just to have maps upgraded. I would also like to be able to install my own POIs. |

Works well for me on my Sony Clie TG50.
All we need now is POI imports and Sony button support _________________ Everywhere and nowhere
