With regret I am posting this as GPS Warehouse started out by being
very helpful and my email on the 4/4/07 has met with no
response as of 21/4/07, I thought I had found a reputable
online company to do future business with.
Pre sales service very good, then it would be because they want your cash.
After sales service good, until you catch them out over a simple problem, i.e."Data Card required for Backup" and then refer to there advertisement on the website, they altered that quickly to try to hide the fact, then they totally ignore you.

An excerpt from there original web page, of which I have a copy on my PC.

"The StreetPilot i3 comes with MapSource City Navigator UK &
Ireland data pre-loaded onto a Transflash™ data card."

The ammended web page changed to this after I asked why I had
no "Transflash Data Card" supplied with my unit.

"The StreetPilot i3 comes with MapSource City Navigator UK & Ireland data pre-loaded."

They could quite easily have solved this problem and suggest that they could supply a card as they have them in stock (which I recently found out) and for which I would have been prepared to pay for (£60).

They have certainly lost extra custom from me and I have informed my friends to also avoid them.
I hate to think of the response anyone would get who may have
something serious wrong with an item purchased from them.
GPSW "ignorance is bliss" must be there customer service motto.

I think the original i3 came with the data on a transflash (Micro SD) card but the later ones have inbuild memory with the data on it. Can anyone confirm this?

This sounds more like a simple error arising from a change in the actual specification of the i3.

I also used gps warehouse, i found them to be very helpful but i found a fault with their advert for my nuvi 610t, they info said it did text to speech, along with all the other stuff the 610 does i bought one, it doesnt, so i contacted them explained the situation, once they checked their web site they offered me a straight refund. Then altered their advert.

I found them helpful and straight to deal with but i think the web info could be more accurate.
