I`ve been offered a second hand 02 xda (original one)

as i`m looking for a new pda and ultimately want to run a sat nav software on it i would like to ask,how good is a 02 XDA in daily life?

I`ve had a look at the product info etc on the net but does anyone have any real hands on experience?

It's a good unit, the only drawback as far as GPS use goes is you are restricted to using a GPS Mouse solution as it has neither Bluetooth nor CF. It does have a built-in SD/MMC slot which you'll need to fill for map storage.

And if you need a car mount both Brodit and Carcomm have XDA mounts, Carcomm even have an XDA Car-Kit which allows use of the unit as a hands free in-car phone.
