wasent sure where to post this , so here will do for now

i`m using an ipaq 3630 with co-pilot live 4 and have a nokia 7250 i phone

configuring co-pilot live to download data is ok , whats got me confused is the settings for the int modem in the phone and on the pda

i`m with vodaphone and got them to send me the relevant gprs settings for the phone today and they where installed

but the pda settings now are the next hurdle , i have set the baud rate to 9600 , with the ususal 8 , none , 1 and hardware flow , and the dial number is , i`v been told *99# , but i cant get the pda to connect to the net

i should mention at this point that the phone is not blue tooth , only IR , i have enabled the IR on the PDA and it sees the phone no probs

what other settings in the modem setup should i change on the pda to enable a connection please

You should be able to go to the Connections screen, create a new connection and set the modem to "Generic IrDA modem" and speed 115200 (just in case you got multiple GPRS channels ;-) ) . Then specify the extra dial string commands as specified by your carrier (including APN etc). This should allow the iPAQ to use the Nokia for GPRS dialling.

After that's all done test the connection wit the Pocket Internet Explorer. If that's worling the CoPilot Live stuff should work as well
