i need help please

i installed the poi synch. and downloaded poi overlays for many hotel,shops..etc...the problem they dont appear when i navigate. I tried going to poi overlays-choose the overlay-properties-detection and checking the box (detect poi from this overlay).when i choose ok i get the message (are you sure you want to change the properties of all overlays in this category?) i choose yes and then ok. still poi does not appear and when i go back to the properties i find that all the boxes(detect poi from this overlay) which i ticked before are unticked...can any one help please

Hi Sam,

Are you using TomTom, if so which version, and PDA is it on?
Are you using CheckPOInt, if so which version?
Where (which folder) have you loaded the POIs?

From your description, it sound like you're might be setting up CheckPOInt and not asking TomTom to show the POIs.
