What software does this use? If it is MioMap, have you had a look at this ?

Hi Scott,
I have a medion 250 and have downloaded poi warner off the internet which comes at the moment with a free speed camera data base, but for an extra few pounds you can have an upto date speed camera data base thro the poi warner site, or load the same thro this site.

Hi Scott,
Have you got POI Warner up and running on your sat nav? If you have you need microsoft actine sync running on your computer and then you should be able to download the speed camera data base from poi handler from the menu on the POI Warner screen.Get back to me if your still having problems.

Hi Scott,
You need to download the Poi Warner instalation files directly onto your medion sat nav via the usb cable, and not try and put them into the map folder. You will find Poi Warner will install its own folder on your satnav.

Once the program is installed it will ask you for your registation code and open a keyboard up for you to tap into on the sat nav screen.Enter the regisration code and you have Poi Warner.

To try and explain again-

1 Connect sat nav to computer with usb cable
2 Double click on POI Warner insallation
3 Follow on screen instructions ( computer and sat nav screens )
4 Enter Registation code on sat nav when asked.

If you dont have the Poi Warner insruction manual I can e-mail you a copy,it is also possible that Poi Warner may have given you the wrong installation file, but there customer service is first class in resolving any
problems.
If I can be of any further help just shout.Tony

Hi Scott,
You seem to be having a bit of a struggle with this, but lets see if I can help.I think you may need to do download it all again onto your sat nav,It will tell you the files are already in there but continue the same as I said yesterday and it will go back in no problem. Enter the registration number again, it will say congratulations.
On the Poi Warner screen, download some poi's of your choice from POI Handler, once loaded use your stylus to click on START MONITORING in the POI Warner screen on your sat nav.You should then return to your normal sat nav screen and find that a smalll green sqaure has beeen added to the bottom left had corner of your sat nav.
I take it out of my sat nav on a regular basis and then reinstall it,dont be put of by a few failures its a good learning curve.
Let me know how you get on. Tony
