SmartST 2005 SP1 UPdate ofr Pocket PC Issues

I Needed to get the North America maps, for Sat Nav and as I already had SmartST V3, I thought I would just buy the SmartST 2005 ones.

My thinking was I'd get the small benefit of running a later version of SmartST than V3.

So successfully Un-installed V3, loaded 2005. Updated Pocket PC SmartST. Then saw that a Service Pack 1 was available, so as a good Navman customer would do, I thought I'd download that and apply it.

First of all the Navman download site was atrociously slow, bombing out all the time and resetting itself. Anyway I eventually managed to get a downloaded SP1. I applied it and I can see no increase in my Pocket PC SmartST version.

Is there anyone out there that has managed to perform this update correctly?

My SmartSt version is 3.50.0024 and I understand it should be 3.50.003

Well, I have received a response from Navman support. The first response told me nothing new, but the second one at least told me what Version I should see on my PocketPC. It confirmed that teh SP1 patch didn't update my PocketPC, so I have requested step by step instructions for applying the patch.

Hopefuly I'll get that info today!
