Great, thanks for letting us know. :D
It's just a pity that most other people don't let us know of successful outcomes, as it may also benefit other people. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

That's odd keefrto, on my Go300 the audio works on the demo at any speed below 300% |

Quote: | The only thing I have found in the past is if the demo speed is above "about 85%" the sounds do not always work. |
oops, after reading some of the previous comments I took a look back at my previous post and realised there was a "Typo"
It should of read 385% and not 85%.
Sorry for that, but at least you do now have it working. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

I have a curiousity question - Why would you choose anything other than "only warn if on route"? Why would you want to be warned of something not on your route? |
The idea of using the warning off route is to be able to have your Tomtom switched on and though you may not have any route planned in it will still give you a warning of the POIs as a reminder when you drive by. May be just local running or going on a trip you already know !! |

Madmouse, can you read through this whole topic. It will be something simple like you've not renamed the files properly or you've left them in a folder, or you haven't gone through the warn when near setup for every category abain. |

Hmm, im going insane trying to get these .ogg files to work.
This is what i've done.
I downloaded the .ogg files.
I renamed them to match the .ov2 filenames.
I copied them into the correct map folder.
I don't have "hide known file extensions" ticked.
I have tried resetting the warn POI, I'm still getting the select sound option screen.
I even tried resetting the TomTom, to no avail
Its a TomTom 910 App 6.520
Any ideas would be welcome. |
